"Not gained so much as found." Sinric smiles, carding his fingers through Hannibal's hair softly. "But I very much enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing it with me."

"Thank you for this," Hannibal murmurs. "It's been a long time."

He moves to face Hannibal, laying at his side to snuggle against him. "Since you've shared pleasure that way? I'm honoured." He lowers his eyes and smiles, looking back up into Hannibal's beautiful and strange eyes. "You are the first, since the man who taught me how."

Hannibal tilts his chin to kiss him, a content smile in his eyes.

Sinric returns the kiss, easy and sweet and gentle. He enjoys this gentle contentment, seeing Hannibal so relaxed and fulfilled.

He curls a little in Hannibal's arms. "May I stay with you a while longer? I know you must have things to do but... I don't much want to go down to the bar just yet."

"As long as you like," Hannibal says.

Sinric smiles and kisses Hannibal again, slow and sweet. It's a kiss of affection and appreciation.

He could be content to pass the day here. Just reading or listening to music. Or watching Hannibal draw.

"I might have plans for you later," Hannibal adds.

Sinric purrs warmly, settling back on the bed. "Oh, do tell? Or is it a surprise?"

"Not really," Hannibal says. "I'd like to return the pleasure, and draw you afterwards."

Sinric smiles, genuine and warm. "I'd like that." He touches Hannibal's soft lips. "But later? Let this pleasure be what it is for now."

"Yes," Hannibal says. "No hurry at all."

"Thank you." He smiles, kissing the tip of Hannibal's nose. "I don't know about you but I'm rather hungry. Shall I send down to the bar for something?"

"Food?" Hannibal says. "Of yes, that is a thing that exists. Good idea. I have wine, but..."

He vaguely gestures in the direction of the kitchen towers.

Sinric chuckles and kisses the hollow of Hannibal's throat. "I have broken something in you, if the great chef has forgotten about food."

He rises, something of his natural grace returned. "Is there something particular you'd prefer, to go with your wine? Or shall I surprise you with something from my travels?"

"The latter," Hannibal says. "I can't seem to think of anything specific right now."

"Just so." He smiles, very glad to see Hannibal so relaxed, so sated.

He borrows a robe and steps out into the hall, pausing to talk with one of the rats.

A few minutes the rat returns with a large tray of Japanese delicacies, not modern sushi but little bites of fish and vegetables and rice balls with pickled baby plums.

And a bottle of 8th century rice wine in an elegantly glazed ceramic bottle. "I wasn't sure if you have something that might suit so I ordered this too."

"Some courtly Heian period delicacies," Hannibal says, looking up and returning to himself at least enough to identify the style of the food and the dishes. "Lovely."

"I always rather enjoyed the picnic food in Nippon. Little boxes, tied up in cloth, each revealing a new and interesting treat." He picks a a fried chrysanthemum flower, gently breaking off a petal to feed to Hannibal, at once sweet and spicy.

Hannibal takes it reverently, like a Catholic believer accepting a communion wafer.

Sinric laughs warmly and follows it with a kiss. "Take this, my flesh." He purrs softly, the words sensual on his lips.

Hannibal closes his eyes, and swallows.

Sinric watches him, his eyes savouring Hannibal just as Hannibal savours the morsel.

Hannibal opens his eyes again and looks at the tray, curious but wholly passive.

Sinric chuckles and settles into a more comfortable position to feed little bites to Hannibal. Next he chooses a fine slice of fresh fish, folding it neatly around a rice ball, the heart of which holds a ball of sour cherry, tart with the almost sweet fish.
