Sinric stops to talk to a rat on the way up, drawing Ragnar up to his room.

He stops as he draws Ragnar through the door, closing it behind them and kneels to take off Ragnar's boots. Tending Ragnar with the gentle care he once tended Constantine.

Sinric laughs and slaps Ragnar's chest lightly before getting off him. He pads naked to the bathroom, returning a few moments later with a bowl of water and a cloth. He washes Ragnar slowly and lovingly, humming softly to himself.

"You are pampering me so much," Ragnar says, not moving even his little toe, otherwise.

"I spoil you because I love you." Sinric answers simply, kissing Ragnar's ribs as he washes his chest.

"I am ridiculously lazy," Ragnar says, tilting his head to look down at Sinric.

"I would take it as a personal insult if you were able to stand up right now." Sinric mutters with mock seriousness.

"I am useless," Ragnar teases, "but you still love me. I feel flattered."

"Beloved, you are far from useless." He kisses Ragnar's cheek and sets the bowl and cloth down. "But I suspect you're goading me into stroking your ego."

"It feels nice when you stroke it," Ragnar says, smirking. "Just as good as it feels somewhere else."

Sinric laughs and stretches out next to him, happily lethargic.

Ragnar pulls him close, sighs deeply, and closes his eyes.
