Sinric's room is small, simple. A slightly narrow bed spread with furs, a long free-standing wardrobe and a padded window seat that overlooks the gardens. But what dominates the room is a large baroque harpsichord.

Sinric ducks his head, tucking some stray books away, hair hiding his face shyly. "I'm sorry, I know it's not much."

Moaning all the while, he arches his back sharply, his stomach going taut for a moment, before he falls back down into a slow writhe of ecstasy.

He strokes the side of Sinric's neck, his thumb caressing his jaw. Sinric's hair spills over the insides of his thighs, and each time he shifts his legs he feels the silky softness.

Sinric drinks him his pleasure, licking and teasing out every moan and sigh. He draws back slowly, peppering Emcee's thighs and balls with softly kisses before reaching for the cloth and beginning to clean him gently.

Emcee rides out the seemingly endless waves of pleasure, endless as long as Sinric keeps touching him in one way or another. Every patch of skin tingles, every nerve ending sensitive to hot and cold and soft and wet. He curls his toes in the furs, raising his arms above his head in a feline stretch.

Sinric keeps touching, washing him carefully and shifting from firm massage to light caresses as needed.

He works his way down to Emcee's feet, massaging with nimble hands as he gently urges Emcee to roll over.

With a purring sigh, he rolls over onto his stomach, pushing the pillow aside to press his cheek to the furs instead.

Sinric smiles and presses a kiss to Emcee's rear as he massages up his calves. He wonders if he has credit enough with the bar to buy Emcee a fur of his own.

He giggles breathily when he feels Sinric's lips on his ass cheek. To be fair, he does have kissable ass cheeks.

Eyes closed, he exhales another deep sigh.

"Have I told you lately how marvelous you are, darling?" he mumbles in a voice drunk with pleasure.

"Not lately but I'm always glad to be appreciated." He kisses the small of Emcee's back and his touch moves higher, massaging and stroking between gentle wipes of the cloth.

"If you feel tired, I won't be offended if you fall asleep. I quite understand."

He chuckles.

"No, I'm all right. I'm not going to fall asleep. I don't want to miss a thing that you do to me."

"You're too kind." He teases, working a knot from Emcee's lower back.

Little by little he washed and caresses all the way back up to Emcee's neck, settling at his side. He reaches for a fine silver and horn comb on the dresser and starts combing out Emcee's hair.

"Mmm, always," he murmurs with a smirk in his voice, before relaxing completely under his attentive and thorough touch.

When he feels the comb in his hair, he smiles. Shorn short at the back and sides, and grown long on top, it's just a close shave away from some styles worn by Vikings in Sinric's world.

Like to Vikings perhaps but very different to the styles of Byzantium or Sina. He combs it carefully, thoroughly, careful to miss none. A habit of a time and place where even the cleanest are at risk of lice.

The soothing repetition of the comb going through his hair is what actually almost lulls him to sleep. But after a while, he shifts and rolls over onto his back again.

He reaches up to cup Sinric's cheek.

"Come here, darling."

Sinric sets the comb down and moves to Emcee, stealing a sweet little kiss.

He breathes out a soft chuckle at the kiss before pulling him in for another one, warm and lingering and tender.

It's not often that Emcee is like this. But it's not often that he meets anyone like Sinric.

"Thank you for a wonderful night," he murmurs against his lips.

He luxuriates in the kiss enjoying the warmth and affection in it. "Thank you. It was wonderful to share this with someone who understands me."

He leans back to smile into Emcee's eyes. He doesn't need to ask if they can spend time together again. He knows if and when their cross paths again, it will enjoyable but there's no reason to put pressure on Emcee.

"Likewise, darling."

He meets his eyes and his smile, and he brushes the backs of his fingers across his cheek.

He then slips his arms around him, to hold him close beside him.

Cuddling is nice. It doesn't happen with people other than Ragnar and Athelstan.

But sharing it with Emcee is like curling up with one of his brothers again and he misses them. He closes his eyes and wraps an arm around Emcee, just enjoying the fraternal affection.

Emcee takes a moment to brush Sinric's hair away from his face. And he kisses his brow, warm and affectionate, before letting his heavy eyelids fall closed.

One of his brothers. One of his boys.

The scent of the oil on Emcee's skin, the warmth of the fur and the feel of a trusted person beside him is enough to lure Sinric into the more restful sleep he's had in a long time.

Feels like home.
