Curled in Rangar's arms and clutching Athelstan's hand, Sinric keeps his face hidden as they enter their rooms. Somehow it's easier with his eyes closed. It seems to narrow down the visions.

He tries to steady himself enough to stand, wavering like a leaf. "I must smell terrible." He can't tell, still so disconnected from his own body. "I don't remember how long it's been since I washed."

He senses a turn of discomfort from Athelstan. "I can do it alone, it's alright."

Sinric holds a weak hand out to him, his fingers trembling with exhaustion. Sympathetic and loving. "On the cliffs of St George, a moment will be the world."

"It will have to be enough."

He takes Sinric's hand.

Sinric curls his fingers around Hannibal's, shakily bringing Hannibal's palm to his lips. He wishes he could give Hannibal more.

"Sinric."

Hannibal bends over him to gently kiss Sinric's lips.

Sinric smiles softly, cupping Hannibal's cheeks as they kiss. Its a sweet echo of Ragnar's kiss but he knows Hannibal is kissing him for a very different reason.

He lays back on the pillows, shaking a little with exhaustion but smiling still. "I am glad to know you, Hannibal. And I'm glad to love you."

"If you try to sleep now, will the dreams leave you alone?"

Hannibal kisses him again, loving and protective. He may be a very dangerous creature, but he is a very dangerous creature firmly on Sinric's side, like a tame tiger protecting him.

Not tamed, but caring none the less. The kiss soothes Sinric, knowing his love is answered in kind.

"I don't know." He answers honestly. "I hope so. It feels less as if it's crowding in on me now." He squeezes Hannibal's hand weakly. "I shall need your help to regain me strength."

"Whatever you need, you shall have."

"Your patience wisdom as a healer of the mind, your advice and sternness as a healer of the body." He kisses Hannibal once more, his eyes growing heavy. "And your support and nearness as a friend and lover."

"They are all yours already, Sinric," Hannibal says. "to begin with, I can watch while you are sleeping and wake you up should you give any signs of bad dreams."

"Thank you." He touches Hannibal's cheek softly, already starting to slip under again. "I know you don't always get on, but would you allow Ragnar and Athelstan to sit vigil with you? I know the helplessness of being shut out must be making Ragnar pace like a tiger."

He hopes there can be peace between them. He doesn't want to be the cause of more distrust and dislike. He needs all three of them - if not together, then at least cordial.

"Oh yes, of course," Hannibal says. "Would you like me to call them back in?"

"Please? I'm sorry to worry everyone so but I would feel better if you're all close by." His eyes grow heavy, his breathing starting to even out.

Hannibal gets up and raps on the connecting door. "Ragnar? Athelstan?"
