Sinric's room is large, vaulted and warm. The furnishings are plush and rich. One niche holds a large bed, another contains several deep couches and harpsichord. The walls are lined with bookshelves and decorated with maps and paintings.

Another niche contains several large wardrobes. In the centre of that area is Cecil's wardrobe, a lovely tall screen to change behind and a tall mirror.

"Welcome to my home." Sinric smiles warmly.

Sinric giggles warmly and nods. "As I said, the Bar has been kind to me."

"Now, shall we see what we can put together for your date?" he dances over to throw open Cecil's wardrobe.

Cecil's wardrobe is a bit (a lot) disorganized, but he never bothers to organize it - he knows where everything is, so why bother? So there's tunics next to old band t-shirts, cummerbunds hung up next to sweater-vests, fuzzy mini-skirts next to leggings. Shoes of all varieties clutter the floor, mooooostly in pairs (he never did find that other sandal, he's pretty sure The Faceless Old Woman has fed it to his garbage disposal for some real or imagined slight). There's a rainbow of ties (and at least one rainbow tie) and enough belts to form a rope down to the bottom of Radon Canyon. Tacked to the walls (mostly where-ever he could make room) are headbands, hair ties, and a tiara.

Basically, Cecil is a sucker for glitter. And texture. And color. And anything that ticks multiple boxes in that list.

"Maybe should have asked to go straighten it a bit first." Cecil muses as he eyes the packed-in contents.

Sinric laughs warmly, joyfully impressed by all the colours and glitter. One mini skirt in particular catches his eye. "Oh, I love this! So bright."

He puts it back, diving through happily. "What is the weather like where you're from? Best not to dress for the wrong season for a start."

"Well, we're meeting up mid-morning so I don't have to get up too early and I can still make it to work on time. It's winter, so... eh, pretty temperate, all things considered. I could wear... most of this, really. Maybe not the fur coat, I haven't found a good occasion for that yet."

It's too bad. He likes that shade of purple.

Sinric nods and keeps exploring. "Do you have time to go home before work? Or must you wear something you can wear to work too?"

"I mean, most likely I'll have plenty of time to change before work. Worst comes to worst though, I have a spare set of work clothes in my locker at the station." Cecil shrugs, unconcerned.

Of course, he's rather hoping he'll end up running late, but that's a different topic.

Sinric pulls out a pair of trousers in a deep burgundy, a shirt or a light pink shot with purple and a black vest embroidered with silver stars. "Try these?"

"Outfit number one, coming right up!" It's more... ... ... Cecil isn't sure what the right word is here, but he's never put together this combo. It'll be an adventure! He hustles off to behind the screen.

A few minutes later, he struts out, determined to give the outfit a fighting chance. Hey, he's survived fashion week every year of his life - he knows how this works.

Sinric watches him critically. "How does it feel? It looks good, as do you but you don't seem to feel it. Not what you had in mind?"

"I mean, it's fine. And nothing survives in there if it isn't comfortable, I mean, what's the point, right?" Cecil figures he has enough problems without a shirt with an irreparably itchy tag. "It's just a bit... matchy? I guess? I might fade into the wallpaper."

Says the man in the sparkly vest.

"The song is too soft for you liking." Sinric nods without offence, back in the wardrobe.

Sinric comes back with another outfit, bright this time. Teal jeans, a purple asymmetric cut top and a long jacket with a sparkling hem.

Now we're cooking with gas.

"Oh gosh, I forgot I had this." Cecil exclaims as he takes the shirt. So maybe his organization could use some tweaking. Later. Right now? Outfit time.

When he gives this outfit its turn, it definitely falls more in line with his usual choices.

Sinric smiles and sends Cecil off to try it on.

There is a moderate amount of flailing - skinny jeans are always a pain to get into. He manages it finally, with only a mild amount of cursing at the zipper in Modified Sumatrian.

Zipper cowed into submission, Cecil strolls back out, adjusting the robe so it lies flat before giving a spin.

"How's that for a look?" He asks cheerily.

Sinric eyes him critically. "I think the Jacket might be wrong. The cut hides how well the shirt flatters you. How does it feel?"

"Well, it should be fine... so long as there isn't any sitting involved. I'm... not sure that is a viable option at the moment." Cecil admits after draping the jacket over the screen. "I.. may have not bought these for sitting situations."

They are great for standing though.

"Perhaps pants that are less restrictive? That might not keep you from... enjoying your time with Carlos."

He opens the door of one of his own wardrobes and pulls out a pair of leggings. The colour is a similar teal tones but patterned like a mosaic. "Here, try these."

"Ooooooh." Cecil approves of Sinric's fashion sense. "These are nice. I wonder if they have these on Amazon." Of course, that requires the Post Office to be both existing and functional... neither of which are true at the moment, but he's a patient man.

Ish.

Patient-ish.

Either way, he takes himself off behind the screen again, the zipper on the jeans getting another stern and creative talking-to when it tries to jam again.

Cecil isn't looking forward to the day Jandice starts taking languages in school. He's going to have to be so on guard. Ugh.

He struts back out a few minutes later, brilliant as any peacock. One thing's for sure - he definitely has the confidence to wear leggings in public.

"Amazon? You know of Themiscyra?" Sinric smiles hopefully.

At the strut, Sinric smiles and claps. "They look wonderful. You must wear them. My gift to you. But we still need to find a better cut of coat."

Sinric considers his own wardrobe again, shifting a string halter top out of the way.

"Oh, thank you!" Cecil chirps cheerfully. "I'm afraid I don't know a... Them... criers? The... sky-birds. Themarara."

He gives up abruptly, because that attempt wasn't going anywhere but down, even he can hear that. Oh well.

"No, it's a... sort of market place, sells everything, though shipments have been understandably delayed lately. Oooh, how about this one?" He asks, pausing in his attempt to make some sort of order in his wardrobe to pull out a wide-collared, metallic, beetle-green coat.

"Themiscyra." Sinric pronounces the place name more slowly. "It was where the Amazons of legend came from."

He nods at Cecil's explanation. "Oh, I see. That's useful, even if deliveries are slow."

The jacket is perfect and Sinric beams. "It's wonderful! Yes, I think that's it."

"Themskatoon." Cecil hazards, and winces at the miss. Honestly, that's a horrible tongue-twister! "Well, if nothing else, at least I'll be remembered as being well-dressed." He beams as he twirls in his completed outfit, in color combinations not found in nature.

Sinric laughs and waves it away. "It doesn't matter."

Again, Sinric claps. "You look stunning, my friend. Carlos will not be able to take his eyes from you."

Cecil blushes at the idea of having all of that gorgeous intelligence focused on him. That would be... well. That would be neat.

"Thanks to your help - I would have been lost in a fashion abyss." Cecil demurs, hunting down the proper hanger in his wardrobe so his outfit can go back in together and be findable again.

"It's my very great pleasure."

"Here." He finds one last thing to add to Cecil's outfit - a star made from chips of milky blue and glittering green stone, held in a swirl of sliver. He pin the brooch to the breast of shirt. "To bring back, so you can tell me how it goes."

"Oh, wow." Cecil peers down at the brooch, sounding a bit stunned. "Sinric, that's... thank you, it's gorgeous. I'll take good care of it."

Guess who doesn't wear jewelry very often?

Well, fancy jewelry, anyway.

"My pleasure. I hope you have the most wonderful time." Sinric holds his arms out, offering Cecil a hug if he'll permit.

Cecil certainly will permit - he's a hugger. He'll hug pretty much anyone (provided their name isn't Steve Carlsburg). This hug is an excited, nervous, friendly hug, all 'first day at school' and 'swooning about your crush' nerves.

"I am going to have a glorious time, and I'll tell you all about it next time I'm here." He promises gleefully.

Sinric gives good hugs, warm and soft and greatly cuddly. "Find happiness, my friend."

"I'll certainly do my best." Cecil assures him. Then, giving the mirror and the potential antique plenty of space, he heads off to plan the Coffee Date Of The Century.

And possibly sneak in a broadcast here. He really does worry about the lack of community radio.
