Sinric walks with Athelstan, up the stairs and into their rooms joined by magical doors that lead to different places.

"Would you help me out of this?" He gestures to the wide collar of gold and stars. "The clasps are at the back."

He looks beautiful in his debauchery, and Athelstan leans back to just look at him for a long moment.

Ragnar lies down beside them now, and starts leisurely licking his own seed off Sinric's throat, and face.

The little laps makes him moan and shiver, swallowing again. His slender adam's apple dancing under Ragnar's mouth.

Athelstan lifts a hand to stroke Sinric's throat, his fingers brushing Ragnar's lips in the process.

Ragnar positively purrs with contentment at touching both of them; a languid hand stretches out to stroke Athelstan's hips.

His throat has been a trigger every since but with them, the touch doesn't cause any reaction, so deep is his trust in them.

Sated and shattered, he relaxes into their touch, letting himself be warmed by their closeness as he comes down from the high.

It's the lightest of touches as well, with no hint of a squeeze.

"Sinric", Athelstan murmurs.

"This was every bit as good," Ragnar pants, "as I always hoped it would be."

He clings to them then, laughing softly as tears of joy dampen his cheeks. He's still too lost for words but he kisses them.

Athelstan kisses him back.

"And now here you are with us again", he says against Sinric's lips.

"Safe between us," Ragnar says. "Ours."

The tears come quicker as he hugs them both close. It is some time before he finds his voice but when he does, it's to sing thank you in as many languages as he knows.

Athelstan reaches out to wipe the tears away very gently.

"I meant what I said", he says, again in Greek.

Ragnar moves is head slightly so he can kiss Sinric's lips and eyelids, very gently, as he can be.

Their gentleness does little to dispel the joyful tears but he settles between them, sharing soft kisses and gentle touches until he's calm again. "You will spoil me for all others." He whispers, smiling softly.

"All others except your emperor", Athelstan says gently. "And perhaps you'll find someone in your own time to love you just as much."

"And if not, we will always wait for you," Ragnar adds.

"Constantine will always own a half of my heart as he has owned my body. But you will always own the other half." He promises, "And should it come that I love another, I will love them with the kindness you have taught me."

"You shouldn't be alone", Athelstan says softly, "when you're not with us. I hope you do find someone who'll love you as you deserve."

Ragnar is stroking both their shoulders, preferring touch to words, for once.

"I hope I should be as lucky as you, to have found the other part of your soul."

"He - or she, I suppose - is out there somewhere", Athelstan says with confidence.

Even if Sinric couldn't please a woman the usual way, he could still love one.

Ragnar is kissing them both, pondering how very much Athelstan is indeed the other half of his soul, and how lucky he is.

Sinric huffs a soft laugh and strokes Athelstan's hair. "And what would I have to offer a wife, but a model for her clothes. I have pleasured women in the past but I have nothing to give beyond that."

"Love and affection", Athelstan says firmly, "and perhaps a breadwinner. Some widow with children already might be very glad of that."
