He returns the kiss, more deeply this time. "I will. As I hope you will hold the memory also."

"No forgiveness needed, my Sinric, and it will warm and sustain me as much as the thought of Ragnar." He looks into his eyes. "Do you want to?"

Sinric smiles, making his dark eyes dance. "Always."

He slides down the bed, stopping to tease Athelstan's nipples softly.
