Sin takes Athelstan's hand and leads him through a door and then another, and up a narrow flight of stairs that seem to be hidden in the walls. To another door that looks like it should be locked but isn't. (Or isn't locked anymore.)

The journey leads them into the roof and a flatish section of tiles where they can sit and look out over the lake, protected from the breeze.

"Come, sit with me." Sin strolls across the tiles, sure as a mountain goat till he finds a good spot to sit with their backs against a chimney.

Sin sings softly, stroking Athelstan's back. He feels like he should be talking Athelstan through his first time but he cums so rarely and this time was so unexpected, he needs a little time himself.

The singing is good enough, as soothing as the touches.

Athelstan shifts in his arms a little, lips finding skin in a wordless thanks of his own.

After a while, and once they're both feeling steadier, Sin carefully disengages, removing and deposing of the condom. He kisses Athelstan again and slips out of the bed, returning with a warm cloth to clean them both up.

He smiles as he does, sharing warm, familiar kisses.

Athelstan returns them, moving to give Sin access to his body with the cloth, and enjoying the feel of it on his skin.

"Thank you."

Sin kisses the skin he cleans and smiles. "I should be thanking you." He says, his high voice a little rough. "That doesn't happen to me very often." He throws the cloth towards the bathroom and curls up next to Athelstan, pulling the blankets up around them.

He pushes himself up a little to look at Sin's face, frowning slightly.

"Well, it should."

Sin hushes him with a smile and a kiss. "It would be nice if it did but biologically, it just doesn't." He shrugs. "It's the way I am."

"But it can happen. It just did happen."

He doesn't like to think of people not taking trouble over Sinric.

"Because we built up to it, because you helped me reach the right head space." He strokes a finger over Athelstan's cheek. "because it's been a good week, full of wonderful kindnesses and new adventures."

He shrugs. "Sometimes things are just good and my body reacts well to it. Sometimes, not so much. But it's okay. I'm at peace with who I am."

He doesn't look entirely comforted, but there's nothing more he can do about it.

"Then I'm glad this was a good day."

"I got to be with you." Sin smiles, stroking his cheek again. "How could it not be?" He kisses Sinric, long and deep. "Rest now, beautiful Athelstan."

"If you rest here with me." His arms go lightly around Sin, holding him without trapping him.

"I'm not going anywhere." Sin hugs him close and kisses him. "Not tonight, anyway." He sings a soft lullaby, stroking Athelstan's back.

Before they fall asleep, however, there is a noise at the door, and Ragnar's voice calling softly, "Hello?"

Athelstan blinks out of a drowse and looks uncertainly at the door, not quite awake.

"Ragnar?"

Sin opens one eye a crack. "Shall we let him join us?"

"Can I come in or is it a bad moment?" Ragnar asks.

"...you can come in", Athelstan decides after a moment, snug in the covers.

Sin smiles and kisses Athelstan's ear. He shimmies to the far edge of the bed, pulling Athelstan with him to make room for Ragnar to sit. Or lay.

He shoots Ragnar a sleepy grin, unashamedly snuggled around Athelstan. "Hello you."

"Hey, you two," Ragnar says, smiling at them. He kicks off his boots and takes off his shirt, then simply lies down in the place Sinric made for him, and puts his arm around them both.

"Looks like Sin popped your cherry from the other side, too, sweetie," he murmurs into Athelstan's ear; and then, he kisses each of them in turn.

Athelstan blushes red, but doesn't deny it.

"Entirely my fault." Sin accepts the kiss without shame. "I begged him."

Ragnar next kisses Athelstan's blushing cheek.

"The you know it's as good to be inside Sin as it is for you to have me inside you," he says. "When we meet again, we should try both at the same time."

He blinks at that and stammers something completely incoherent.

"Stop teasing your lover, Ragnar. You have him all flustered." Sin coos, cuddling Athelstan close.
