Sinric waits quietly in the light of the doorway, his eyes down until he heard Athelstan's footfall on the stairs of the veranda. He rises to offer Athelstan his arm. "You should come in where it's warm."

"Something to look forward to." Sinric whispers, kissing Athelstan's shoulder and he shifts the furs to protect Athelstan's back and gently guides him to roll over.

"Us? This?" He asks softly, his hands working on the muscles of Athelstan's neck and chest.

Sinric meets him halfway, the kiss thick with love and longing. "We will, when the time is right and you are ready. Never fear for that."

"But I want..." He trails off, frustrated with himself. "I do still want you. I hoped to make love to you tonight, another good memory to take back and for you to hold while I'm gone."

He just isn't sure his body will cooperate.

Sinric hushes him with another kiss. "There are many ways to share pleasure. To touch, to taste, to feel. It is not always needed to enter or take."
