AU week - telling the tale.

Sin takes Athelstan's hand and leads him through a door and then another, and up a narrow flight of stairs that seem to be hidden in the walls. To another door that looks like it should be locked but isn't. (Or isn't locked anymore.)

The journey leads them into the roof and a flatish section of tiles where they can sit and look out over the lake, protected from the breeze.

"Come, sit with me." Sin strolls across the tiles, sure as a mountain goat till he finds a good spot to sit with their backs against a chimney.

The way his throat moves when he laughs is fascinating.

Athelstan lifts his scone without looking and licks jam off the sides.

Sin watches the gesture with a smile of his own, very aware that he has Athelstan alone in a room. "Enjoying the scone?"

"...yes." He blushes and starts paying more attention to the food. "It's... very tasty."

Sin giggles and leans over to pick a crumb from the corner of Athelstan's mouth.

Before he stops to think, he turns his head to lick the crumb and any remaining jam off Sin's fingers.

Sin lets out an utterly sexual purr, holding still to let Athelstan lick his fingers. "Oh, beautiful Athelstan!"

He does so, then eats the last bite of scone - and when that's gone, turns his attention back to Sin's fingers.

"You've got lovely hands."

"As you have lovely lips." Sin purrs, stroking Athelstan's cheek.

He presses those lips to Sin's knuckles.

"Now we've eaten, shall we try out that bath?"

"Let's!" Sin grins, shedding his clothes with unself-conscious grace. "Its been a while since I was in a bath this decedent."

Athelstan is a little shyer to strip, but takes Sin's lead - after all, they've been naked in each other's company before.

"Beautiful", he murmurs without meaning to say anything, eyes fixed on Sin.

Sin smiles over his shoulder, bending over the bath to run the water and throw in some bubbles. "Thank you." From behind, his figure is lithe and deeply feminine. "You're stunning yourself."

He's never taken the time to really look at Sin from this angle before, and this is the first womanly body he's seen naked. He approaches nervously, hands out to touch lightly.

"Do you think so?"

Sin purrs warmly, staying still to let Athelstan touch him. He turns slowly, the effect holding true from the waist up. He cups Athelstan's cheeks and pulls him into a slow kiss. "Athelstan, you are a truly beautiful human being. Heart and soul."

The praise, more than the kiss, is making him blush again.

"I'm just me", he protests weakly.

"And you are amazing." Sin whispers, nuzzling Athelstan's neck.

[athelstanthescribe]

"I think you are too." He shifts closer to Sin. "I never met anybody like you before."

"There aren't many like me." Sin smiles, lacing his arms gently around Athelstan's shoulders. "Or like you."

[athelstanthescribe]

He's not sure what to say to that, so he lets a kiss be his thanks, then points to the tub.

"It's getting full."

Sin leans over the turn off the taps, knowing exactly the view he's presenting. The perfect inverted heart-shaped rear Ragnar can't keep him hands off. "Climb in with me? I'd love your help to wash my hair."

Athelstan certainly can't keep his eyes off it, though touching without an express - not to say blatant - invitation is difficult for him.

"Of course."

Already naked, he slips into the water a second later.

Sin smiles and leans over him, reaching for the cloths. He notices the warmth in Athelstan's cheeks and stops to kiss him again, very sweetly."

Athelstan returns the kiss, his hands resting on Sin's flanks, ready to be guided wherever Sin wants them.

"Touch me however you want." Sin offers, against his lips as he presses his body against Athelstan's. "However feels right. Or not at all if you prefer. You decide."

[athelstanthescribe]

"You know I want to touch you." His body melts against Sin's, and his hands come around hesitantly to his rear.
