AU week - telling the tale.

Sin takes Athelstan's hand and leads him through a door and then another, and up a narrow flight of stairs that seem to be hidden in the walls. To another door that looks like it should be locked but isn't. (Or isn't locked anymore.)

The journey leads them into the roof and a flatish section of tiles where they can sit and look out over the lake, protected from the breeze.

"Come, sit with me." Sin strolls across the tiles, sure as a mountain goat till he finds a good spot to sit with their backs against a chimney.

That gets something between a gasp and a cry, and he wouldn't be able to stop himself pulling Sinric's hair if he tried.

Sin edges him up again, teasing him back to the edge by humming a turn, his throat vibrating around him.

He lifts his mouth from Athelstan, reaching up to stroke his fluttering stomach. "Don't hold back, sweet Athelstan. When you feel yourself falling over the edge, just let it happen. Let it overtake you. I have you."

"I'm not - " He gasps. "I don't know how to - just let go."

But Sin can bring him there.

Sin moves up to cup Athelstan's cheek, kissing him softly. "It's okay, beautiful Athelstan. Our bodies are geared to feel this, to enjoy this. Just let your instincts guide you."

He nods into the kiss, looking into Sin's eyes.

"Then let me... help me."

"I'm here with you. I have you." Sin promises as he kisses down to take Athelstan in his mouth again. He teases, sucks and hums; bringing him to the edge swiftly and holding him there, ready for Athelstan's pleasure.

He's tense and ready, poised right on the edge, and it will only take one little push to send him over.

Sin takes him down to the very root, holding him there as he hums a long, warm note to push him over the edge.

And Athelstan cries out as he reaches his climax, safe in Sin's arms.

Sin swallows and swallows, licking Athelstan clean before shifting up to take Athelstan in his arms, holding him close.

Athelstan turns his head, a little dazed, for a kiss.

"That was..."

"Shh," Sin whispers, kissing him slow and sweet. "Just enjoy it."

He falls quiet, learning to revel in the afterglow, with another few languid kisses.

Sin strokes his hair, sharing those languid kisses. "Beautiful Sinric, thank you."

"You did it all", he says against Sin's lips. "What's to thank me for?"

"For letting me share that with you." He purrs, kissing him again. "How do you feel?"

"Wonderful." He wraps his arms around Sin. "There's so much I didn't dream of."

"And there is so much more still." Sin promises, stroking Athelstan's cheek. "For Ragnar to share with you, too."

[athelstanthescribe]

"Between you", he says softly, "you'll show me the world."

"I sincerely hope so." Sin laughs warmly, content just to hold Athelstan for as long as he needs or wants.

Athelstan's equally content to just lie there in the sun and be held for a while.

Sin sings to him, softly and gently, stoking his hair till the sun begins to set. "We should go in before it gets too cold."

" - yes." He stirs reluctantly. "It won't be so nice up here at night."

[thewidewideworld]

"It can be. I slept up here the other night but there's a storm coming, I can feel it. Better to be somewhere warm and dry." He kisses Athelstan slowly. "I'd very much like to invite you to share my bed tonight."

"Do you have one here?" he murmurs. "I'd be honoured."
